On 11 November, the X Meeting of BRICS Ministers of Health under the theme “Era of COVID-19: Global BRICS Solidarity for Health Safety” will take place via videoconference.
During the meeting, the Ministers will discuss a number of key issues of the current situation with COVID-19 in the five BRICS countries. Russia will present the consolidated document “BRICS Countries measures taken in the field of healthcare to counter the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19)”.
Following the meeting, the Ministers are expected to adopt the Declaration of the X Meeting of BRICS Ministers of Health. . The document will include joint steps to strengthen cooperation between BRICS countries in combating the outbreaks of infectious diseases, including COVID-19.
