The plenary meeting was focused on the view of young parliamentarians on global security and breakthrough development in the digital era. The event is taking place in St Petersburg.
After the plenary meeting, the forum participants continued their work in the format of sessions and roundtable discussions.
Young parliamentarians discussed strengthening international security, regulating digital economy and ensuring digital sovereignty, harmonizing BRICS educational space and ways to stimulate youth entrepreneurship.
The Russian State Duma was represented in the Forum by MPs Natalya Kuvshinova, Boris Chernyshov, Denis Parfyonov and Dmitry Ionin.
BRICS Young Parliamentarians’ Forum is being organized by the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the Roscongress Foundation.
