On 2 November 2020, the International BRICS Youth Business Incubator concluded. It was organized under the Russian BRICS Chairmanship by the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh) and held from 20 October to 2 November 2020 via videoconference.
For two weeks, over 60 young entrepreneurs from the BRICS countries presented their projects and exchanged experience on creating and doing business in the five BRICS countries.
The education sessions included speeches by entrepreneurship and intercultural communication experts, among them Olga Bolkunova, expert of the Russia-China Youth Business Incubator, Svyatoslav Zverev, Deputy Chair of the Council for the Development of Youth Scientific and Technical Initiatives at the Moscow Confederation of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Sachidanand Swami, Master of Sciences from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) and Tesun Jia, Deputy Director of the Chinese Youth Exchange Center.
During the final session of the programme Tatyana Seliverstova, Head of the Department for International Activities of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, reviewed the Forum’s work and presented the project of the “International IT Valley”, which is expected to be launched in the Ulyanovsk Region in 2021.
After the Forum, the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs and the relevant Line Agencies in BRICS will continue to assist programme associates in holding bilateral business talks.
